He emphasized the importance of emphasizing the commonalities that unite us as a nation with diverse cultural backgrounds, particularly amidst the challenges of hunger, inflation, insecurity, and other adversities currently facing Nigerians.
During Ramadan, he highlighted, individuals are encouraged to embody the values of love, selflessness, tolerance, and empathy, especially towards the underprivileged.
Zaura stressed that Ramadan fosters an environment of togetherness, where people prefer sharing meals with loved ones rather than dining alone, and where generosity towards others is paramount.
He underscored the importance of reducing prices and extending goodwill to others during this period, particularly in light of the economic hardships faced by many Nigerians.
While acknowledging the economic challenges exacerbated by fuel subsidy removal and the depreciation of the Naira against the US Dollar, Zaura expressed confidence in the efforts of the Bola Tinubu administration to stabilize the economy and address prevailing challenges.
He urged Nigerians to maintain hope, support the ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda of the Tinubu administration, and pray for peace and prosperity across the nation.
