On Saturday, Vice President Kashim Shettima arrived in Kaduna to extend his condolences to Governor Uba Sani and the residents of Kaduna State.
This Visit is a result of the abduction of 280 school children and teachers from the joint Government Secondary and LEA Primary School, Kuriga, in the Chikun local government area on Thursday.

Upon arrival, the Vice President was welcomed by Governor Sani, the Minister of Environment, Malam Balarabe Abbas, the Speaker of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Yusuf Liman, and various other senior government officials.
