This scholarship program spans over 5 months or 20 weeks, providing an intensive learning experience that equips participants with the essential job-ready skills needed to kickstart or advance their careers in the tech industry. No prior relevant experience or degree is required to participate.
Benefits
- Participants in this program will benefit from access to a supportive community of fellow learners, as well as monthly check-in calls by the She Code Africa Team, creating a conducive learning environment. Employability workshops are also provided to assist in securing internship opportunities.
- Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a career certificate.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be an active member of the She Code Africa Community, with a membership application review process that typically lasts one week to demonstrate credibility.
- Show proof of foundational knowledge or skills in their chosen track.
- Possess a working laptop and have access to internet connectivity throughout the program’s duration.
- Commit to completing their chosen course within 5 months or 20 weeks.
- Be available for monthly check-in calls.
- Priority consideration will be given to applicants who are beginners or at entry or mid-levels in their chosen tech tracks.
